Don’t go for Post Graduation

If you’re planning to take admission in PTU, UTU, KTU and some of the other third class technical universities of India, I’ll suggest you to don’t waste your 2-3 years there. You will spend your valuable time and money there and in end of day you will have one PG certificate to which no one will consider. No one is going to give you job that you are PG, there are thousands of sorry millions of PG’s in India and maximum of them are unskilled and still don’t know what they want to do. Do you want to be one of those?

I’ll suggest you to find what you want to do in which stream you want to make your career, is it Marketing, Sales, Web Development or any other field, start applying for job. Don’t look for money, learn things by heart, make your self Ninja. And you will see things will get better and better, you will have better life and better salary. So instead of wasting 3 years in post graduation and then start working on same salary which a graduate worked 3 years earlier, it’s better to do correspondents PG course.

Just a thought, choice is your.

Bollywood Directors who Lost their Magic

I’ll say Bollywood is seriously lacking in good directors, we had only few good directors. And reason behind this is, in last 1-2 years we hardly saw a good movie. I think last good bollywood movie i saw was 3 Idiots and it has been more than 2 years but still I haven’t see a good Bollywood movie. One thing i noticed, some of Bollywood directors which had given good movies in past lost their magic. Their movies neither make business nor get critically acclaimed, don’t know what happened to them😦. In this post i want to highlights some of the directors names:

Subhash Ghai: Subhash Ghai is known as (or was known as) Showman of Bollywood, but from the last 3-4 years he’s struggling in giving a hit. His last 3-4 movies were biggest flops of respective years, Yaddie, Yuvraj, Kisna were some of films in that list.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali: Unfortunately, Sanjay Leela Bhansali has come in my list, Sanjay had gave some of the big hits which include the Hum Dil Chuke Sanam, Devdas and Black. But if we see his last movies Sawariya and Gujarish both failed in box office.

Mani Ratnam: Mani Ratnam is biggest name in my list, Mani sir is one of the my favourite director but in last few years he failed to fulfill the public expectations. Directors of movies like Roja, Dil Se, Bombay failed to make such type of classical movies again, his last movies Yuva, Guru, Ravana was not up to mark. I hope we will get some classical movies from him in future.

Aushutosh Gowariker: Aushutosh Gowariker, the director who had given Lagan movie to Bollywood is struggling in giving a good movie. If we see his last few movies for example, Whats your Rashi, Khale Ge Hum Gi Jaan se has not delivered well in box office nor acclaimed by critics.

Some of the other name which can come in my list are Vishal Bhardwaj, Aditya Chopra etc. I hope in next few year we will see some good movies form Subshah Ghai, Sanjay Leela, Mani and Aushutosh Gowariker.

2011 in review

The stats helper monkeys prepared a 2011 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

The concert hall at the Syndey Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 14,000 times in 2011. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 5 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.

Wishing a Happy New Year 2012

A few hours has been left for new year and good thing is that this time new year is on Sunday so people had entire night (31st Dec) to celebrate eve of new year🙂. If i looked back this year, 2011 was a good year for me but want to make 2012 better than 2011. I already set the goals and target for 2012 and start moving forward to achieve them.

I think monthly challenge and goal helps you in improving your life, so i try to set a new challenge and goal for every month. Set a goal which helps you in improving your life whether it is personly or professionaly. I believe life is about taking action, and if your work is not driving action, you need to stop and reboot.

As Seth Godin Said, “You don’t need a new plan for next year. You need a commitment.”

I wish all of you a Happy New Year. May Every day of year grow with good cheers and happiness for you and your family. Cheers!

People are Forgetting about Saving

Half of the world people life mainly Europe and North America is running on credit. The powerful marketing and advertising of companies are forcing people to put money out of their saving accounts. You can purchase anything at any time, no matter where you are. If you are in shopping complex, you may purchase those things which you never thought to buy. So it’s not easy to save money in nowadays life style.

In my few years of professional experience, i found the most importnat thing is that how much money you save at the end of day. You earn 50K per month but becuase of your life style you save only 10-15k, then other person who earn 30K but save 15-18K will be in better situation than you (until or unless you are not son of a millionaire).

I think if you know how to manage time and money, you will never fail in your life. But if you can’t utilize both of these things, in long term your life can be painful. I don’t want to say, save as much as money you can, but you should have proper control on your expenses.

Make an analysis of your monthy or daily expenses, where you spend money unnecessary, I’m sure there will be lots of things, where you don’t need to spend money. You are not late yet, so start saving from today.🙂
